With over 25 years of dedicated classroom teaching experience, I bring a wealth of expertise to education, having taught in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Australia.
Holding an Honors degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, my commitment to professional growth led me to specialise in Gifted Education. I earned a Certificate in Gifted Education from UNSW during my time in Australia. Committed to yet further understanding the needs of all my students, I most recently decided to explore in greater detail the science of reading, training in the Orton Gillingham Approach.
I am a Mum of two teenage boys and have enjoyed supporting and guiding them throughout their own learning journeys. My eldest is now flying high, training to be a pilot and my youngest loves racing down steep slopes on his mountain bike. I much prefer calm, leisurely walks with friends, my husband or my dog. I do love relaxing with a good cup of coffee whilst looking out over Warriewood beach. Every day I feel so grateful to live in such a beautiful place.
